Oriflame is looking for a business oriented Marketing Manager for Accessories!

The Role

As a Marketing Manager for Accessories you will manage the product development of the global category which incorporates a broad spectrum of merchandise. At a strategic level you will be accountable for the attainment of sales and margin objectives, compliance with corporate strategy and targets as well as catering to markets’ goals, strategies and objectives. At an operative level you will monitor relevant markets and trends, set size of line targets, work on process improvement and be responsible for cost management.

As a Marketing Manager for Accessories you will be responsible for coaching a group of product managers on a daily basis and by that also be responsible for the development and profitability of the brands and products within the category.

You will:

  • create strategic guidelines for product sector as to ensure sustainability of Accessories in its respective markets
  • overlook the development of products and purchase in line with relevant market and customer trends for the mass market in accordance to cost targets and quality objectives
  • ensure that all product development deadlines are met and that collaboration with all involved parties (R&D, Artwork, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Creative Team) is successful
  • set and keep the Size Of Line
  • overlook and ensure profitability of the products
  • coach the product managers

Experience, education and personality

The right candidate should have experience from retail, -fashion or the management consultant industry with previous experience within Product Development or Purchasing of Accessories. You have an eye for trends and good market knowledge of what is profitable and what´s not within the accessories category. You have strong knowledge in cost savings and margins and easily adapt an economical perspective on your business. You also have previous experience from leading a small group of people and are comfortable in taking a leading role.

As a person you are ambitious, self-driven and goal oriented. You like to take responsibility and have excellent coaching skills. Above all you are business minded and good at working independently. Excellent English is required, other languages is an advantage but not essential.

The role is located in Stockholm but contains travelling from time to time.
